It felt like forever since she'd entered the maze. Too many twists and turns that turned around on themselves within. Battling the odd gymtrainer at designated points within had been fun, but.... Eventually she'd become so lost and confused that she'd needed the help the ace-trainer had given, just to get out of it and to the gym proper.
And now it was hot. Hotter than it'd been in the maze, yet not overbearingly so. But that made sense. The gym was anchored into a dormant volcano, wasn't it, and Blaine trained fire-types, and she knew from experience that many of them liked the heat. Not that Fumiko cared as she made her way to where she'd, hopefully, find the gymleader.
"Hello?" She called, pausing briefly at the edge of the field. What if she was too late? what if was passed closing time? Most gyms she'd been to closed at 1 or 2 pm, and while she'd entered the maze at 9 am... she didn't know how long she'd spent in it. A bite of her lip, then she continued, "Pardon me, but.... I'm not too late am I?"
